Round Table Cover Sizes: Cocktail, Highboy and Banquet
Round covers are sized by the table's diameter and height. How to measure a cocktail, highboy or banquet round, and which fitted or stretch cover fits it.
Rectangular table covers come in three familiar sizes: 4, 6 and 8 ft. Round tables do not. A cocktail table at a networking event, a highboy by the bar and a 60 in round at a gala each need a different cover, so start with two measurements rather than a guess.
Measure two numbers
- Diameter: measure straight across the tabletop through the center, edge to edge.
- Height: measure from the floor to the top of the table.

The round tables you will usually meet
- Highboy or bar height cocktail table: often about 30 in across and about 42 in tall. People stand at it.
- Seated cocktail or bistro table: often 24 to 36 in across and about 30 in tall.
- Round banquet or meeting table: larger tops, often 48 or 60 in across, at about 30 in tall.
These are typical sizes, not a standard. Measure the actual table, especially a rental, because venues and rental companies vary.
Fitted or stretch
Fitted round covers are cut to the table's diameter and height, in dye sublimated display polyester, for a soft, tailored drape. They come in four sizes: 30 in D x 30 in H, 30 in D x 42 in H, 48 in D x 30 in H and 60 in D x 30 in H.
Stretch round covers are tailored to the table and fit close to its shape, so a logo reads without folds. They run from 24 to 36 in across and 30 to 44 in tall: 24 x 30, 24 x 36, 24 x 42, 28 x 43, 30 x 30, 30 x 42, 32 x 44, 36 x 30 and 36 x 42 in (diameter x height).

Placing a logo on a round cover
A round table has no single front. Put the main logo where most people will approach from, and repeat it on the opposite side if the table stands in open space. On a stretch highboy cover, keep the logo on the upper part of the cover, above the narrow waist, where it stays at reading height.
