Measure the wall, not the name

Backdrop sizes are named by display class, not by exact width or height. An 8 ft pop up is 89 in wide, the 8 ft pillowcase is about 90 in, and the 10 ft pillowcase is 112 in, not 120. Before you pick, measure three things:

• Wall or corner width. The space between the two points where the backdrop has to stop. Choose a size that is narrower than that, so the edges do not touch a pillar or a neighboring booth.
• Height to the ceiling. The pop up and pillowcase backdrops stand 89 to 90 in, about 7.5 ft. The banner on the step and repeat stand prints 92 in tall. If you are under a low soffit or a ballroom partition, check that number first.
• Floor space in front. Guests need room to stand, and whoever takes the picture needs room to step back. A wider backdrop gives a group room to stand without cropping the logos at the edges.

Matching the size to how it will be used

We do not publish a headcount per size, because a press line and a group picture use the same wall very differently. To choose between the sizes:

• A narrow photo corner or the back of a table: the 8 ft class.
• A 10 ft booth wall or a photo spot: the 10 ft class, as the 10 x 8 ft banner stand, the 10 ft pop up or the 10 ft pillowcase.
• A long press line, a stage or a gala entrance: the 20 ft pillowcase backdrop, the widest we sell.

Banner stand, pop up or pillowcase

A step and repeat banner stand is a fabric banner with pockets along the top and bottom that slide onto telescoping poles, and it is the lowest priced of our three styles, at $322.99 and $342.99 for the 8 x 8 ft and 10 x 8 ft. A pop up backdrop is a self standing aluminum frame, 12 in deep, with the graphic attached by hook-and-loop across the front and both end caps. Artwork size and logo layout

The printed file is larger than the visible face, because the fabric wraps the frame. The pillowcase graphic prints at about 97 x 92.6 in for the 8 ft and about 116.7 x 92.5 in for the 10 ft, and the banner stand prints at 92 x 92 in or 116 x 92 in. Do not build the file by hand: email us for the template for your size and it shows the full print area and the safe zone.

2. Add your artwork on the product page (AI, EPS, PDF, SVG and high resolution PNG at 300 DPI or higher), or send it after you order. No artwork yet? Free basic design assistance on every order. Send a logo, colors and a rough idea and a mockup comes back.
3. We send a free digital proof. Nothing prints until you approve it.
4. Production starts on approval. Ships within 2 business days after you approve your proof. Most orders arrive within 10 business days (US lower 48). Shipping is included.
