Retractable banner stand sizes and how to use them at a booth
See what comes with the standard 33 x 81 in retractable banner stand, where to place it beside your table and backdrop, and how it fits into booth packages.

A retractable banner stand gives your booth a vertical message that people can read before they reach the table. The banner pulls up from its base for display and rolls back down for transport. PromoMogul sells several stand levels and sizes, including a Standard banner that measures 33 x 81 inches.
That size works as a separate sign beside a table or near the booth entrance. It does not replace a full backdrop: it has a narrower face, so use it for one clear message while the table and back wall do their own jobs. Before ordering, check the available floor width, where visitors walk and what else is included in your booth setup.
What comes with the Standard 33 x 81 in stand?
The Standard 33 x 81 in roll up banner stand is sold with its stand, printed banner and travel bag. The banner is matte vinyl and printed single sided. It rolls down into the base for transport and pulls up for display. For the Standard level, the other listed size is 24 x 81 inches.
“33 x 81” describes the banner width and height. The product listing does not give the Standard base footprint, so leave practical space for the base and confirm the exact setup against the room or booth plan. Avoid placing it where the base blocks a visitor path, an accessible route or the space people need to stand at the table.
There are also Deluxe and Premium choices. Deluxe uses a 33 x 81 inch banner with 13 oz matte vinyl and aluminum retractable hardware. Premium banners are 36 inches wide and come in 69, 80 or 92 inch heights, with 13 oz matte vinyl and adjustable poles. These options have different specifications, so compare the level and finished banner size on the product page rather than assuming all 33 inch stands are the same.
Place the message where it helps
Start by deciding what a visitor should notice first. Put the banner just beside the table, with its face turned toward the approach aisle. Keep the table available for conversation and product display, and use the stand for the single headline, service or product category that should be visible from farther away. A short main message is easier to scan than a list of everything the business offers.
If the booth has a backdrop, place the roll up near one end of it or at the front corner. This makes the narrow banner a signpost and the backdrop a wider visual setting. Leave enough room for people to stand in front of the backdrop or approach the table. Check that the banner does not cover an important part of the backdrop graphic from the main viewing direction.
In a compact booth, choose one side for the banner and keep the other side open for entry. In a wider layout, set the table and backdrop first, then add the banner where the message can be read without creating a visual obstacle. These are layout suggestions, not guaranteed spacing requirements; measure the actual room, furniture and product dimensions you plan to bring.
Pair a roll up with the booth package that fits
The Indoor Starter booth kit pairs a 6 ft fitted table cover with a Standard 33 inch roll up banner stand. It is a straightforward starting point when the table and one upright message are the main pieces you need.
The Trade Show Booth kit includes an 8 ft stretch table cover, a 10 ft tension fabric pop up backdrop and the same 33 inch roll up banner stand. The table puts branding where you meet visitors, the backdrop creates a back wall, and the banner displays the main message beside the table. If you already have some of these items, compare the kit pieces with your inventory before you choose the complete setup.
Another option is the 10 ft Backdrop Display Package. It includes a 10 ft straight pillowcase backdrop, a printed 8 ft table throw and a Standard 33 x 81 inch roll up banner stand with its printed banner and travel bag. Each piece can carry a different design. The table throw is a cover, not a table, so plan the furniture separately.
These packages show how the pieces can work together; they do not mean every venue has the same layout. Confirm booth dimensions and organizer rules, especially limits on backdrop height and placement near neighboring spaces. For an outdoor event, do not assume an indoor roll up stand will work as an outdoor sign. The product listing specifies indoor use.
Keep the artwork readable
Give the banner one clear job. Put the logo and main message where they can be read at a glance, and avoid crowding the design with small details. The product specifications call for keeping text and logos at least 1 inch from the top and 3 inches from the bottom. Use the template for the selected size so important content stays in the printable area.
Plan the design with its single sided display in mind. Turn the printed face toward the aisle or visitor approach. When the banner is pulled down into its base after the event, keep the graphic clean and the travel bag with the stand so the pieces stay together for the next setup.
